Rugby promotes the values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, and Sportsmanship. These core values are what make rugby one of a kind. Playing rugby creates an environment and culture that is enjoyed by the team players.
In every sport, teamwork is the key to winning. In rugby, a player does not play for themselves but for the team. They trust that each player will do their best in the part they play. If each member achieves their goal, then the entire team succeeds.
Respect is an important value in rugby. We learn to celebrate our differences and be united despite diversity. We listen to each other and we value their opinions. We submit to the authority and listen to our coach.
3. We Play and Enjoy
We play and we enjoy; that is what matters. We do our best to win, but we do not resent our loss. Each player should enjoy being a part of the rugby community
Sports help develop discipline. Rugby will teach players self-control in times of unavoidable circumstances. In every game played, we make sure that we are honest and fair. We follow the rules and regulations to make sure the game is played fairly. We also make sure we give disciplinary actions to unacceptable behaviors.
We uphold camaraderie within the team and the opposition. We celebrate every victory and learn from every defeat. Whether we win or lose, we prioritize the well being and development of each player in the rugby game.
